BUMP + BREATH

This is an online offering for mothers and birthing parents - a place to find an anchor when the rest of our worlds are changing every day! You’ll find yoga classes, mindfulness practices and a growing community of pregnant people and new parents ready to welcome you.

I filmed the classes alongside my pregnancy. It was important to me that we were at 'the same stage' in the classes so that I could really feel in to what was needed in this offering. I hope that I am able to support you during your own experience and I am totally honoured to be here along side you at this precious time  πŸ§‘πŸ’›

  • Bump + Breath is Annie's offering to support pregnant mothers and birthing people in connecting to their breath, their changing bodies and their baby or babies through yoga and mindful practices.

Whether you are looking to start yoga for the first time now that you are pregnant, or you are a regular practitioner looking to adapt your practice during your pregnancy, it has been designed as an inclusive space for people of all levels of experience with yoga (more on this in the 'how can I join?' section.

  • Bump + Breath is for all pregnant mothers and birthing people. Whether you are a seasoned yogi or coming to the mat for the first time to support your pregnancy, Bump + Breath will support you throughout your pregnancy and beyond.

There are two ways to use Bump + Breath depending on what you are looking for...

    1) As a stand alone offering

What I mean by this is that the classes are fairly gently throughout and for those that aren't moving much, are new to yoga or are looking strictly for pregnancy yoga (rather than adapting other classes that are perhaps more dynamic) then it is whole in and of itself and if it is all the yoga you do in your pregnancy it is more than enough. If that is what you are looking for, I recommend buying access as a 1 off bundle which will give you 12 months of access (so you have time to use it postnatally too)

    2) For those with an existing practice

And by this I mean to support you in bringing some pregnancy specific classes into your existing practice and to help you learn tools to adapt 'regular' classes to your changing needs during your pregnancy. If this is what you are looking for, I recommend buying a monthly (or annual) subscription to The Practice which includes all Bump + Breath content as well as the full library of classes. In the Bump + Breath content you'll have tutorials that will teach you all the modifications you will need at each stage so that you feel empowered to take pretty much any class on the platform (or any in person class you might want to attend).

Bump + Breath is designed for uncomplicated pregnancies. If you are experiencing any challenges or conditions in your pregnancy, please consult your care provider to ensure that practicing yoga is a supportive choice for you.

  • All Bump + Breath members will have unlimited access to the class library, as well as access to a community space dedicated to all things pregnancy, birth, baby and beyond.

Annie will also share recommendations and insights from her own pregnancies and parenting experience, as well as exclusive offers and discounts on products, events and experiences to support you during your own experience.

  • There are two ways to access Bump + Breath (check out the 'Who is it for' section to work out which is better for you).

    1) Welcome to Bump + Breath

    2) Using Props for Pregnancy Yoga

    3) First Trimester Check-In (this is where you will learn the modifications for trimester 1 that will generally still be relevant for trimesters 2 and 3)

Once you reach your second trimester (or if you are already there)

    4) Second Trimester Check-In (as above)

and then if you are in your 3rd trimester (or when you get there)

    5) Third Trimester Check-In

Once you have watched those videos, you can take any Bump + Breath class.

  • The classes in the collection for your current trimester will likely be the most relevant as they have been specifically designed to support common experiences at certain points in your pregnancy. However, you are welcome take any of the classes from any of the trimesters at any point as long as you have watched the modification videos. Please always listen to your body and only do what feels comfortable for you.
